Privacy Policy
Team8s Inc. · Last updated: October 31, 2026
1. Who we are
Team8s Inc., a Canadian federal corporation, is responsible for the personal information it collects. Our Privacy Officer, Abbondio Castronovo, can be reached at [email protected], 1-866-282-7749, or Team8s Inc., 12342 Lorenzo-Prince, Montréal QC H1E 4J7, Canada.
2. Applicable laws
We handle personal information in accordance with Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (as amended by Law 25) and the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
3. Information we collect
Contact details (name, business, email, phone) you provide in our forms, chat or a demo; billing information (processed by our payment provider); the content of conversations with our AI chat or voice agents, including voice recordings or transcripts when the voice agent is used; technical data (IP address, browser, pages viewed) and cookies.
4. Purposes
To respond to your requests and book demos; to provide, bill and support our services; to send transactional messages; with your consent, to send marketing communications; to improve and secure our site. We collect only what is necessary for these purposes.
5. Consent
We collect your information with your consent, which you may withdraw at any time by writing to us. Commercial electronic messages are sent only with CASL-compliant consent and include an unsubscribe mechanism.
6. Sharing with third parties
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us deliver our services (including HighLevel for hosting and CRM, and AI, telecom and payment providers), bound by contract to confidentiality and security obligations, or when required by law. No mobile information or SMS opt-in consent will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We keep a record of each SMS opt-in consent (date, time, source and mobile number).
7. Transfers outside Quebec
Some providers may store information outside Quebec and Canada, including in the United States. Before any transfer, we assess privacy factors as required by law and protect the transfer by contract.
8. Cookies and similar technologies
Our website runs on the HighLevel (LeadConnector) platform. When a page loads, the platform automatically sets the following, before any choice is offered: the msgsndr_id cookie (kept up to 1 year), browser storage keys beginning with v2_ and v3_ that record your session and visit history, and ghl_analytics_user_id (set by the booking/chat widget), which HighLevel uses to recognize repeat visits and measure site activity; and the Cloudflare Web Analytics beacon, which measures page performance and visits. Refusing in our banner does not stop this: HighLevel writes these identifiers on each page load before our site can delete them, and the Cloudflare beacon (including /cdn-cgi/rum) is added by the hosting platform. Cloudflare also sets a short-lived security cookie, __cf_bm (30 minutes), to protect the site from bots. Pages load fonts and files from Google (Google Fonts, Google Cloud Storage) and Bunny Fonts, which receive your IP address when you visit. This information is processed by HighLevel and Cloudflare, including in the United States. We do not use these technologies to sell your information or for advertising. You can delete or block cookies and site storage in your browser settings; the site will still work, although the booking or chat widget may not. Files are served from HighLevel's file network (assets.cdn.filesafe.space), which also sets __cf_bm. The Cloudflare beacon loads from static.cloudflareinsights.com and files from storage.googleapis.com. A session-only language preference (i18n) is stored in your browser. Your choice in our cookie banner (Accept or Refuse) is stored in your browser's local storage under the key team8s_consent for up to 12 months, after which we ask again. Questions or requests: our Privacy Officer, Abbondio Castronovo, [email protected].
9. Automated decisions
Our AI agents answer questions and manage appointments. They do not make decisions based exclusively on automated processing that significantly affect you. You can ask to speak with a person at any time.
10. Retention
We keep information as long as needed for the stated purposes or as required by law, then securely destroy or anonymize it.
11. Security
We apply reasonable safeguards (access controls, encryption in transit, reputable providers). If a confidentiality incident presents a risk of serious injury, we will notify Quebec's Commission d'accès à l'information, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada and affected individuals, as required by law.
12. Your rights
You may request access to, correction or portability of your information, de-indexing or cessation of its dissemination, and withdraw consent. Write to [email protected]; we respond within 30 days. You may also complain to Quebec's Commission d'accès à l'information or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
13. Your clients' information
When we process information about our business clients' customers (for example, appointments booked in your calendar), we act on your behalf; your business remains responsible for its own privacy policy.
14. Minors
Our services are intended for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information about anyone under 14.
15. Changes
We will post any changes on this page with the update date.
